*Welcome*

Hello everyone.

Well this is all new to me and something I am going to do on a daily basis. First off, I thought of the title because this is something that just describes my family. Growing up wasn't always a walk in the park, but I can say it was nothing short of love and support. I can thank my mom for that! :) We went through trial after trial and came out with our heads held high. There are 4 chlidren, including myself. My mom used to always say, "It's just us 5". So we were just that, inseperable and very tight knit. She raised us that way and it stuck. She is the strongest woman I know. She's been through a lot, and has had the utt most happen to her! (I love you mom). She was never one to judge others. But there was one thing that people admired about her...."she has a good heart". My mom was always the type, if you ever needed anything she was the one to run to, mind you we didn't have much ourselves. But she did! You could always count on a roof and food to eat with her. That's just how big her heart is! It's a rare thing to find and I can say I'm proud to call her MY mom! I learned it all from her. She always told me, "keep your door open Utu, and don't ever judge." So I did. Getting into my adult years, I fell in her path and remembered what she taught me. My doors were always open. I think, "what if that were my daughter/son?" I think how it would feel to need that comfort, home, etc. One of my favorite pictures is a picture of Christ at a door with no door knob. It resembles the teachings that we must open the door and Christ into our life. How wonderful is it to know that we have that the agency to decide who we let in our lives! So with that comes the title of my blog! :) I will blog about many things more so life experiences and the lessons we learn each and every day. I hope you enjoy and share your thoughts!
*Always keep your doors open, because you never know who's going to come knocking.*
